Outside temperature 6 deg C. Just had a 1.3 x 1.5 m window and 2.3 x 2m patio door replaced. Our house faces south so gets maximum solar gain at this time of the year. Lovely sunny day today, temperature in direct sunshine 1m from the window 42 deg c. Temperature in full sun at the glass 55 deg C, temperature in the living room 30 deg C with no heating on.

I tried this experiment with the old patio door before it was replaced, temperature 1 m from the window 40 deg C, temp at the window 30 deg C - the outside air at 6 deg C was really cooling the panes, temperature in the living room 22 deg C.

With the new windows trapping so much sun\'s warmth we have about 6sq m of \"radiators\" heating the house for no cost - brilliant.

The installer was very pleasant and helpful and efficient in his work. The job was finished to a very high standard.

Last week I had 8 Geogrian style windows fitted by I GLAZING. An exceptional job was done in a day by a crew of 3. There was no mess to clear up and the lads were very helpful.

The window fitters were on time, and efficient with the minimum of mess inside, and cleaned away really well. The Windows look very nice, and if it lasts like the other ones we have, and keeps white like they have done, they are over 20 years old.

The Two gentlemen who fitted our canopy were extremely quick and efficient. They were also courteous, quiet and even swept up the brick dust from the patio. Top Marks.
